Let's talk "Girl Math" why you're smarter than playing into that stereotype, and how your subconscious thoughts impact your choices (the way you see yourself is the way you act)
It's pretty common for women to use self deprecating humour to cover something up they are insecure about, fear they will be judged on, or to feel better about their choices.
This isn't helpful for your self esteem or your confidence labelling yourself as something that probably isn't true. It also makes it harder for you to believe that you CAN achieve what you want and exhibit behaviour change.
I used to all myself the 70% girl, near enough was good enough and soon enough that transferred into so many areas of my life...even down to leaving 1 or 2 items wet in the washing machine, or 1 dish in the sink unwashed after I'd just done a whole bunch... I'd laugh off my inability to finish what I started. So that became a belief I played into every single time....until it wasn't funny to me anymore.
I want you to feel strong, empowered and confident, girl math doesn't do that. It implies you're not in control of your choices, your finances, or that you need an excuse to justify your choice....a confident women doesn't need that...she already knows.
Have a listen to this episode and see how this plays into your behaviour patterns and how you CAN indeed change, when you change your beliefs and thoughts.
